Addison has been sharing his knowledge of, and passion for, Functional Movement Training for the past 9 years. However, his passion for fitness and training goes beyond the Strength and Conditioning community. Prior to becoming a CrossFit coach, Addison raced on the UCI European Cycling Circuit for Geox Fuji Test Team. He has been practicing Russian Kettlebell training since 2010 and holds certifications in CrossFit, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, USA Cycling, ISSA Personal Training, and ISSA Nutrition.
Addison’s CrossFit resume is comprised of impressive individual athletic accomplishments and a strong background in leadership.
As a competitive athlete, Addison‘s most recent accomplishments include being crowned the 2018 Fittest Man in Minnesota, a 2018 CrossFit Games Regional Qualifier, 2016 Granite Games Elite Team (1st Place), Granite Games 2014 (Men’s Elite Division), Granite Games 2013 (Men’s Elite Division), and 2013 Alpha Throwdown (Men’s 1st place).
Addison has also been a leader in the CrossFit/Fitness communities in Minnesota. Most notably, from 2014-2018 Addison founded, built, and successfully sold Farmhouse Performance Lab located in Edina, MN. During the 2018-2019 School year Addison lead the University of Minnesota Cycling Program as the Head Coach. He continues to train competitive Mountain Biking athletes – both in-person and remotely.
